The residential area beach is known for its vastness and tranquility where you can enjoy the sun and the sea, no crowds, in the middle of a beautiful natural setting. It has fine sand and calm shallow waters, ideal for families with children. It is located just opposite the very RIUMAR suburb, with nearly all the facilities in the sea front line.
Towards the south it adjoins the Delta and the Ebro River and is located just two miles away from the Deltebre River Port and a river quay for the River Cruises, also in the same place the Adventure Water Sports Area is situated where you can rent recreational fishing boats and all sorts of items for water sports.
In the beach territory there are the most important and properly protected nesting sites of sea birds which can be observed from the panoramic viewpoints.
In recent years the beach has won the "Diploma of Bath Water & Arena Quality", and since 1997 it flies the "Blue Flag", the highest award of beach quality, given by the European Economic Community (EEC).
